whos in and whos out?

UPDATE: paper dynamite online sparks wild rumour...

Anonymous blogger sparks speculation … is mckenna in or out? who is dropping out?

Inside info or a fertile imagination? I believe people will be surprised and a little shocked at the latest development -- one of the frontrunners is dropping out next week due to 'health reasons' and will throw his support behind the former minister from Quebec.
If McKenna steps in, it's because he's got inside info on this development and will pick up many of the team's machine.

hmmm a friend mentioned that they think McKenna will somehow still make a return but didn't cite any sources or give a reason.

I'll begin to believe it when I hear more proof.

I have yet to hear anything about the anonymous blogger's interesting comments being true. When will there be some info? The Hill Times reported a few months back that a Draft McKenna campaign would emerge in late July according a a Liberal source. This sudden chatter about McKenna comes right on schedule.

I guess the mysterious anonymous source was wrong. Ignatieff is back in the country and resuming his leadership activities. This however does not mean that McKenna won't enter the race. He has until the end of September. Read the article in The Hill Times for more insight.

I personally do not think that Frank McKenna will put his name forward for nomination in the leadership contest for the liberal party.

According to a blog I just read, despite Ignatieff's return, his campaign is still idle and according to the source many of his Ontario backers are openly musing that his organization would serve Frank McKenna well.
