CONS CON VOTERS WITH NEW NEG AD!
i was just watching the senator’s game on TSN and what should appear… a CON ad. not the one with the prime minister martin in black or white, but one which pounds the ears of the voter with the message corruption, corruption, corruption. It includes clips of dingwal with his infamous 'entitlements' phrase as well as the prime minister saying “the liberal party is not corrupt”. the pm’s phrase is re-dubbed throughout the commercial, while people in a restaurant look at a tv st in disgust. I wish i could write a more detailed analysis of the spot, but it caught me off guard because it is not yet on the CON website and because of the CON “they’ll go neg” ad.

Just got back from the movie, while I was expecting to watch peacefully The Chronicles of Narnia there I get bombarded right before the previews with this shitty piece of right-wing propaganda.

Thanks for the info. If the Tories are determined to lose the election, then keep it up. I hope they keep it up, so we won't have Harper as prime-minister. Even though I was a former PC supporter and would go back to the Conservatives if someone like Peter MacKay or Bernard Lord was leading the party, I am staying with the Liberals as long as Stephen Harper and his Reform Party/Republican wannabes are running the party.
It's a real ad - I've seen it. And I've called in my blog today that the Liberals have to start running their own negative ads given how they're getting hit hard by their opponents negative ads.
Reality Bites on the Babble forum has already let the cat out of the bag, figuratively speaking.

Too bad it's such an amateur job though or else this ad could be believable.
While I disagree with many CPC policies (though not all) given all of this corruption, I just can't bring myself to vote Liberal this time.
It's time for them to take a time out, clean up their act, and come back stronger.
I've talked to many other Liberals (almost all my friends are Libs) and most of them are saying the same thing.
I just played the ad backwards and it told me to WORSHIP the liberal party of canada!
I'm wondering how you would construct a non-negative ad that talks about Liberal corruption... can you think of a possible positive way to spin it?
