harper defined

well ...well... well… stephen harper has made a breakthrough … in cyberculture…

i think one of the most interesting components of the internet is the evolving culture of creativity and communications in cyberspace, which in turns creates an online culture. Blogs for example are one of the products of this culture, but so are open forms, online polls etc. so… with a little web surfing outside of the ‘blogsphere’ I found that “Urban Dictionary” has defined stephen harper.

among some of the definitions you will find descriptions of harper as …

“A total right-wing, reactionary, neo-Nazi, fascist, Albertan-loving nutjob of a moron. He is the leader of Her Majesty's "Loyal" Opposition in Canada's House of Commons.(although I doubt he lives up to his title) He hates immigrants, wants Alberta to succeed from Confederation, join America, privatize all the public services and, after 4 years of Mr. Harper and the NCP(New Crony Party), Canada's going to look like the new 51st state.”

so … if you get board define harper in your own terms!

I get called a Nazi too sometimes. I wondered what govt programs Germany had under Hitler. Guess what, they were a lot like Lib canada with a govt early childhood indotrinatio er development program. Libs throw out the nazi thing and it really is wrong. Govt health care, gun bans, daycare, all things the Nazis did.

The word Fascism has now no meaning except in so far as it signifies "something not desirable."

--George Orwell, Politics and the English Language

If one calls Harper a fascist, then we lose a word to describe real militaristic/nationalist/corporatist dictators, of which there are all too many.

I am new to blogs and have bookmarked several conservative and liberal bloggers. I find it interest the difference between the two. I have not found one conservative blog posting photos comparing liberal to anything but we know the liberal bloggers include liberal party members do.

Here are a few samples, more could be given.

Comparing Mike Harrie to a Pig from Red Tory blog labelled "Hey, remember THIS asshole? " - http://redtory.blogspot.com/

Steve Harper as Darth Harper - from Liberal for Life Blog - labelled "Undecided Voters, you don't know the POWER of the Dark Side." - http://liberal4lifeblog.blogspot.com/

Stop Harper Blog has a defination of Steve Harper:

The conservative blogs are trying to research public use of money, Liberal speeches, election laws, whether "reverse onus" proposal is against Charter of Rights.

Liberal Blogs appear to have little to offer in the form of debating the facts, but must attack the person.

Nazi's were a left of centre party-Fact
Liberal's are left of Centre-Fact
Conservative's are right of centre-Fact
You are not making any sense!
Also, speading anti-Americanism is like being anti-jew to gain votes!
Remind you of any other historical leader?
When you think in those terms, now which leader is the scary one? eh?

obviously some readers of my blog are a little offended by this description. i don’t want to make a habit of reply posting because i think it’s a waste of time, especially when everyone knows where i stand. as for this definition it was a mere observation of cyberspace… i did not write this definition and if you have a serious problem with the wording you should contact the webmaster of urbandictionary or the person who wrote it.

A sad little post.

No excuse. You posted it. You live with it. Without me or other potential readers.
