easter goes for stock

politics watch is reporting that former solicitor general wayne easter is asking the rcmp to investigate stockwell day’s office... to determine whether or not the leak of brison’s interview with the rcmp came from the minister's office of public safety.

agree or disagree… i personally think that this brison thing is a political witch hunt attempting to bring a popular, progressive and controversial liberal mp down a little bit.

as for stockewell day i hope easter isn’t going on a witch hunt of his own…we all know that stockwell isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer … he’s more of a spoon… best of luck mr. easter.

Never underestimate Ol' Stock. Here's the man that held a seance in front of a small town Alberta beer parlour in an effort to make the walls of the place fall down (they didn't .... the walls, that is. I think a few in the crowd snuck in for a whistle wetter after the main gang left)

Scott Brison is staying in.

His career should not fall on one email.

Liberals want him to run.

The anti-Brison remarks come from young organizers with other leadership candidates. They should not be taken seriously.

Scott made a mistake and admitted it. He regrets sending the email.

Time to move on and promote your candidate and stop being melicious about a Liberal who stood in the House and defended the Party for 15 months non-stop.

Wayne Easter is an ass. Can you imagine the guts this man has. "Lets shoot the messenger" he says. Scott Brison is guilty whether he knew for a fact about the income trust or not, he emailed someone who could have gained from this. Now Easter wants to investigate who squealed? Isn't this typical Liberal attitude for the past many years? Cover up as much as you can and if you get caught blame the messenger.
